What the funding covers

A fellowship allowance of Tk 50,000 per month for up to 10 fellows per academic year, for one year (extendable to two in exceptional cases), plus limited research expenses.

Eligibility

• Who can apply: For regular faculty of public/private universities or government university-colleges in Bangladesh.
• Age limit: 50 (see the note in the official rules).
• No language test is specified in the official policy.
• Must hold a PhD from a recognized university.
• Must be a regular faculty member of a public or private university (permanent campus required) or a government university-college in Bangladesh.
• Full-time research with study leave/deputation; a named host institution, supervisor and approved research plan are required.
