Evidence: Official AFLSP@KU homepage (read 2026-10-26): two-year scholarship, approx. JPY 150,000–250,000/month living support + admission fee + tuition fee + professional enrichment programme; Bangladesh in the 24-country list; application period 4–13 November 2026 (closes 17:00 JST). Official Kyoto University call (2026-08-21): applications accepted for prospective regular master's-level students seeking April 2027 enrolment. Official Eligibility page + April 2027 Application Guidelines: email submission (PDFs in one ZIP to AFLSP@mail2.adm.kyoto-u.ac.jp); English §5(4) TOEFL iBT 90 / IELTS 6.5; under 35; ~4–6 awards; must pass the KyotoU entrance examination.

Verified against aflsp.kyoto-u.ac.jp and kyoto-u.ac.jp on 2026-10-26. Caveats: the living-support figure conflicts between official pages — the current homepage (updated 2026-10-16) states JPY 150,000–250,000/month, while the eligibility page and programme documents state JPY 150,000–220,000; the homepage figure is used and the conflict is flagged, not averaged. The 13 November 2026 deadline is for April 2027 enrolment only; October 2027 guidelines are expected around January 2027.
